Area Account Manager, Solid Tumor Norway

The role of the AAM is to deliver defined sales targets by executing the Country Plans as the key local coordinator of cross-functional initiatives. Look for opportunities with customers in partnerships and services. Active communication to and from customers to guide the Solid Tumor Team with information and insights from local markets. The AAM also act as an ambassador for the wider company
Key areas of responsibility:
- Develops and executes account plans and projects according to local and Nordic strategies
- Aligns activities targeted towards key stakeholders.
- Ensures cross-functional collaboration around the stakeholders.
- Allocates resources e.g. budgets/time across designated stakeholders, taking into account segmentation and targeting criteria.
- Initiates and drives the development of a 12 month rolling plan for the region.
- Initiates, drives and supports customer projects.
- Seeks to identify insights, unmet needs and potential value pools leading to development of services and solutions.
- Applies portfolio approach based on customer needs.
- Establishes network of stakeholders and external contacts to identify mutually beneficial business opportunities.
- Analyses and interprets stakeholders strategies/plans and data from CRM and other sources where necessary.
- Sales analysis on a country, regional and brick level.
Skills and Experience:
- Ability to attain a high scientific level of insight and knowledge
- Maintain a high level of communication and presentation skills
- Minimum 5 years of commercial experience from life sciences/healthcare industry.
- Experience and existing networks in the field of oncology is highly desirable.
- Ability to actively drive collaboration.
- Has a documented record of reaching stretched targets.
- Ability to build trust with external stakeholders.
- Awareness of customer preferences and requirements.
- Deep insights on market dynamics and new ways of working.
