Medical Manager  / Medisinsk sjef

The purpose of the job is, based on global strategy, to develop local medical affairs strategies and execute plans aiming at optimal clinical positioning of Lundbeck’s products and supporting the commercial product strategy in the market place. It also includes the insurance of medical review and compliance of promotional material and activities.

Medical Manager, Affiliate North – your new work place

You will be part of Medical, Affiliate North, Region Europe. We comprise Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Iceland, the Netherlands, and Ireland. You will be based in Norway, and as you will both have medical responsibilities for the whole affiliate and locally, you should expect substantial travel activities in the region. You will work in close contact with the other affiliate Medical Managers.

Responsibilities

You will serve as an expert of medical knowledge within the affiliate developing medical affairs plans for key products in collaboration with commercial organization and aligned with overall product strategy. In this role you will be point of contact for interaction with the global medical team. You will identify affiliate KOLs and drive KOL activities such as advisory boards and expert meetings, but also build relationships with health care organizations, physicians, and patient associations. You will be involved in medical information requests and support RA/PV projects, provide medical training within the affiliate, ensure planning and execution of IITs and Phase IV trials, and ensure review and archiving of promotional material.

Qualifications

• MD or advanced academic degree in relevant area
• Several years of relevant pharmaceutical industry experience preferably within psychiatry
• Strong interpersonal skills / is able to build external/internal networks in order to quickly foster/build alliances and working partnerships
• Strong communicator
• A strategic and tactical mindset
• Proficiency in English
