Key Account Manager Hematology/Oncology (No/DK)
– based in Norway (Oslo area)
The main purpose of the role is to drive market access, sales growth and advocate development of ARIAD’s products and services within priority accounts. Key stakeholders will include Physicians, associated medical personnel and relevant payers/administrators in order to achieve territory objectives as well as the organization’s business goals working within the ABPI code and applicable compliance/ legal requirements and company policies.
Your role is to promote and discuss our product with Payers, decision makers and KOL´s, making sure that the right patients get treated with our product.
Who are Ariad looking for?
Ariad is looking for someone to be responsible for Norway (80%) and Denmark (20%). To be able to take on this challenge you need to be a proactive, self-driven person. There will not be someone looking over your shoulder all the time, it is up to you to find the right customers, to create the right relationships and start the right collaborations. To be able to do this you will have your manager as a discussion partner and also the Medical Advisor as your medical expert in the field. The Medical Advisor is also a field-based position.
You are a pragmatic person that sees opportunities. You are not set in your ways but someone who likes to try new ideas and new ways to reach the customers and build new relationships.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Understand and map the local and regional funding, clinical and access decision processes and identify all key stakeholders
- Develop relationships within budget‐holding and decision‐making organizations in the local/Nordics health economy in order to effectively inform account business plans
- Develop and execute customer and account business plans, within designated key accounts, to ensure that all appropriate patients have access to ARIAD Pharmaceuticals medicines
- Ensure a favorable access environment to maximize the potential for sales, and to drive sales growth to realize this potential
- Promote ARIAD oncology product to prescribing Haematologists/Oncology specialists in compliance within compliance and legal requirements and according to the marketing and sales strategies defined by the product line
- Deliver therapeutic information on products in line with marketing strategy
- Organize and conduct regional Medical Education meetings for physicians and other stakeholders
- Create formal networks with key decision makers
- Market surveillance – gain and share customer insights
- Perform local marketing, sales analyses and gain patient flow insights
- Management of professional relations with Opinion leaders
- Participation at congresses, meetings and physician trainings
Qualifications:
- Life Sciences Degree or equivalent professional qualification
- More than 5 years of experience in promoting specialist pharmaceutical products – preferably in oncology /haematology
- Demonstrated track record of Specialist sales and Market Access
- Knowledge of the healthcare system in Norway and Denmark
- Good team player
- Very strong communication and presentation skills
- Professional appearance
- Self-motivated entrepreneurial mind-set
- Good IT‐skills
- Proficiency in Norwegian
